On-Site Diagnostics
We can help inspect common equipment problems and determine whether the issue can be handled on-site or needs full professional servicing.
Save-A-Dive Support
Minor repairs, adjustments, and troubleshooting may be available for divers already at Mammoth.
Regulator Tuning
Basic regulator checks and tuning may be available when appropriate. Full overhaul service may require drop-off or referral.

Save-a-dive repairs are limited to minor issues and are subject to technician availability, parts availability, equipment condition, and safety review. Mammoth Lake Texas will not return unsafe equipment to service.
Visual Inspection & Hydro Testing
Mammoth Lake Texas offers scuba cylinder visual inspection services and hydrostatic testing coordination to help keep your tanks current, safe, and ready for diving.
Visual Cylinder Inspection
- Annual scuba cylinder visual inspections
- Internal and external cylinder condition review
- Valve removal and inspection
- O-ring inspection and replacement when needed
- VIP sticker issued when cylinder passes inspection
Hydrostatic Testing
- Hydrostatic testing coordination for cylinders due for testing
- Required every 5 years for most scuba cylinders
- Drop-off support available through Mammoth Lake Texas
- Return time depends on testing schedule and cylinder condition
- Cylinders must pass hydro before being filled
Cylinder Safety Notice
All cylinders must be current on visual inspection and hydrostatic testing before being filled. Mammoth Lake Texas reserves the right to refuse fill service on any cylinder that is out of date, damaged, corroded, improperly marked, or otherwise unsafe.
