A strong Divemaster is built through experience, not just a logbook. This program gives Sea Aggie divers a place to dive regularly, develop together, learn from one another and become part of the greater Texas diving community.
Some dives will build specific skills. Some may involve a Mammoth project. And sometimes the best development is simply grabbing a buddy, getting underwater and adding another meaningful experience to your logbook.

Available only to qualified Sea Aggie divers pursuing the TAMU-G Divemaster pathway. This program is not available to individuals participating in Divemaster programs through other dive shops or outside professional programs.
The Sea Aggie Pre-Divemaster Development Program is designed to make it easier for qualified students to dive regularly, build experience and prepare for professional-level training. The following guidelines apply to all program participants.
The $200 program fee includes unlimited Mammoth Lake dive access for the student's current academic semester. No additional Mammoth Lake admission fee is charged for eligible program diving during that semester.
Access is individual, non-transferable, expires at the end of the applicable semester and does not carry forward. Enrollment is required for each new semester.
Reservations are required for all diving. Program enrollment does not provide walk-in access or override Mammoth Lake's normal reservation and check-in procedures.
Solo diving is not permitted at Mammoth Lake. Program participants must have an appropriate dive buddy and comply with Mammoth Lake's normal buddy-diving requirements.
Air fills, Mammoth tanks and weights are included for qualifying program dives at Mammoth Lake. Nitrox, oxygen, helium, specialty or technical gases, and cylinders for use away from Mammoth are not included unless specifically stated otherwise.
BCD, regulator and dive computer may be provided when available. Equipment inventory is limited and must be reserved in advance. Program enrollment does not guarantee equipment availability for every requested date.
Participants are expected to attend a minimum of three approved professional-development seminars during each semester to maintain program eligibility. Additional mentoring, dive-development opportunities and Mammoth projects may be offered throughout the semester.
The semester program fee does not include prerequisite courses, CPR/First Aid/Oxygen Provider training, course materials, certification fees, Divemaster tuition, specialty certifications or other professional-training expenses. Additional training is registered and paid for separately.
All Mammoth Lake rules, waivers, check-in procedures, safety requirements and diving policies remain in effect. Divers must remain within the limits of their current certification, training and experience.
Unlimited semester access is subject to Mammoth Lake's normal operating schedule and availability. Mammoth may close or restrict lake access because of weather, maintenance, special events, safety conditions or other operational needs.
Unlimited means unlimited Mammoth Lake dive access during the student's currently enrolled academic semester , subject to reservations, operating availability, Mammoth Lake rules, buddy requirements and the diver's current certification limitations.
Unlimited access does not include unlimited rental equipment, cylinders removed from the property, specialty gases, private instruction, additional certifications or unrestricted access outside normal Mammoth Lake operations.
PROGRAM STATUS: The Sea Aggie Pre-Divemaster Development Program is a Mammoth Dive Academy program designed to support qualified students preparing for professional dive training. It does not replace or constitute the TAMU-G or SDI Divemaster course, and participation does not guarantee acceptance into or completion of the TAMU-G Divemaster Program.
