Mammoth Dive Academy certifies police, fire, and other first responders in Public Safety Diving (PSD) through Emergency Response Diving International (ERDI).
ERDI programs are designed to help departments create, grow, and maintain PSD teams. Training focuses on search, rescue, and recovery techniques used exclusively in the submerged environment.

Mammoth Dive Academy ERDI instructors are experienced professionals from active teams who provide in-depth PSD training to prepare divers for real-world search and recovery operations.
Our programs emphasize safety-first operations and skill mastery—no shortcuts. We can also review your current dive program for NFPA/OSHA compliance and recommend training and equipment improvements.
Throughout the year, MDA holds training seminars on advanced PSD techniques and equipment at Mammoth Lake Texas.
Each year teams travel to Lake Jackson, Texas for our Public Safety Diving Conference to experience new technology in the classroom and hands-on practical application.
